Alamo City has decided to go full on with the youth leading the way as Brian Rodriguez has been named as the club's 3rd Designated Player for the 2020 season. Late last year the Battle made hard charges to secure the rights to both Cristian Pavon and Brian Rodriguez. The intent was to secure young, starter quality players that had the potential to be game changers. Both showed that promise in limited minutes last year. The project is just beginning and the Battle believe that Rodriguez will shine with a full pre-season and proper time with the club. There's no question of talent with Rodriguez and Alamo City is banking on all of that promise coming to fruition.
