Vako is back. While the club faced a pretty tough decision on whom to use the Retention player slot (or if to use it at all) the numbers pointed to making this choice. Overall last season was a bit slow for the playmaker but when Almeyda put his confidence behind midfielder and let him loose Vako's ability stole the show. Heading into season two under the coach will have eliminated many of the issues that held back Vako's ability to produce on the high end. A return to form, or even breakout, is likely on the horizon and the Battle are here for it.
