Battle Announce 2nd DP - Move Pozuelo/Manotas

In a somewhat surprising move the Alamo City Battle have shipped Alejandro Pozuelo to Western Wolves for their 2nd round pick.

While Pozuelo was an integral part of the Battle's 2019 Double Winning season the club is facing very tough roster choices heading into the 2020 campaign.  Mostly due to outside forces and players not returning due to signing elsewhere, the Battle roster was already markedly short on choices before the BSL off-season and roster negotiation period was underway.  Looking over the eligible returning players the Battle made some tough choices and have decided on a strategy for the new season as well as the future.  Part of the strategy was locking up Cristian Pavon to a Designated Player contract.  Joining Sebastian Blanco on the 2020 Battle Roster, the young gunning stud represents the future of the Battle and the league.  Dynamic and capable of taking over games Cristian Pavon showed what he's capable of in his limited time in the league last season.  Now with a full stretch ahead of him the Battle are banking their future on his.

On the heels of both moves Alamo City has also agreed to trade Mauro Manotas to Pacific Elite for their 2nd round Expansion Draft pick.
