Zlatan led the way for Alamo City in a resounding Copa Tejas victory over San Antonio FC. In a result that clearly shows the frustration over not being in the Major's Cup Final, the Battle blasted their sister club from San Antonio by a score line of 9 - 4. Headlining was Zlatan with four goals. Brian Fernandez continued his push to be the flagship of the club however as he knocked in another brace. Perhaps the most steady performer for the Battle, Mauro Manotas added a brace as well. Cristian Pavon added an assist to get his account opened for the Battle.
