With Clubs Unwilling to Negotiate Alamo City Makes Personnel Decisions
It wasn't for lack of trying, but it appears that the Alamo City Battle have come up dry in the off-season negotiation department. "Several clubs were contacted, in fact, they all were ... even the expansion sides. What really bugs us, is that only a few even bothered replying. That's just poor. We understand if clubs don't want to deal or if they don't want to deal with us. That's fine. But to not even reply ? Just poor ... It'll all come back around."
Things have been quite tense at the Alamo City offices the last couple of weeks. While the club tried to negotiate and make some moves and the majority of the league simply ignored the inquiries waters were boiling down in Texas. Despite several thoughts of putting out a press release on that matter the club decided to make their own deals, with their own players.
Mauro Diaz has officially been named the club's 2nd Designated Player.
Tesho Akindele has officially been named the club's Retention Player.
Going into the 2015 BSL Draft the Alamo City Battle will already be armed with Obafemi Martins, Mauro Diaz, and Tesho Akindele.

ReplyDeleteNo worries, you were one of a few that actually responded. I have no issue with simply not wanting to deal for certain things. That's just the process. It's the flat out not bothering to even respond that I have an issue with.
ReplyDeleteI've found that if I map out a trade idea i get more action than if I am vague about trade options.
