Henry Calls Time on BSL/MLS Career

Club Legend Thierry Henry Will Not Return to the BSL/MLS in 2015

Henry knew it, the Battle knew it, the Red Bulls knew it, and now everyone knows it.  Thierry Henry will not be back for the 2015 season in either an Alamo City or New York strip.  The footballing ICON hasn't announced whether he will retire or not, but his future is not with any American footballing club.

Henry finishes with 51 goals and 42 assists to his name in the BSL.  Both marks are club and league records.  While Henry didn't come on board until the 2010 season he lead the club on a remarkable run that claimed the best overall season in BSL history (2013) as the club claimed the Honors Trophy and Majors Cup while setting a myriad of records.  Overall the Battle were able to gain 11 trophies while captained by Henry.

Simply put ....

THANK YOU THIERRY

  1. It'll be interesting to see what he does next. Will he continue to play or will he move on to coaching?

    1. Possibly a move to France or maybe another short stint with Arsenal to put a bow on things. He wants to coach and I'd love to see him coach over here at some point but I think he'll start out with Arsenal.
