Emanuel Reynoso will remain with Alamo City for the 2022 season. The midfield maestro has been named as the club's 3rd and final DP. With Minnesota lacking a true attacking identity for most of 2021, Reynoso still managed to bag 10 assists to go along with 5 goals. If 15pts is an 'off' year then both the Battle and Reynoso look to have a much better 2022 should the Loons land the striking option they're after.
The final piece of the puzzle is GK William Yarbrough. Picked up mid-season, he immediately began adding value and points to the Battle bottom line. When it was all said and done Yarbrough finished the season tied for first in clean sheets, was fourth in saves, and second only by a fraction in save percentage. There's no reason to believe that it won't be more of the same this season.
