It's been a long, long time since the inaugural season of the Bigtime Soccer League. That season saw the birth of a league that is now over a decade old. It's also been over a decade since Alamo City (then Montgomery County) lifted the BSL Cup Championship. The wait is over. The Battle have reclaimed the top honor in the BSL. Fittingly they had to do it against their longest running rival, Capital District. The win gives Alamo City its second Bigtime Soccer League title. It comes on the heels of the club capturing its second Honors Trophy on the last week of the season by overcoming, you guessed it, Capital District. This the club's second "DOUBLE" having previously won the Honors Trophy and Major's Cup in 2013. This season brings the opportunity for the Battle to claim a "TREBLE" if they can finish off the season with their third Major's Cup.
