Hany Mukhtar will return to the Alamo City Battle for 2022. 16a and 12g firmly planted Mukhtar in the MVP discussion and did net him the BSL best midfielder award last season. He was the only player to finish in the top 10 in both goals and assists. The Battle are looking to defend their BSL Cup Championship and once gain be the best club in the league. Bringing back arguably the best player from last season is a huge first step.
