After losing three in a row Alamo City toppled the top team in the league to set up a wild run in to end the season.
Starting the season off on absolute fire, the Battle saw perennial nemesis Capital District kick off a losing skid that almost threw the season into disarray. With an emphatic win over Gold Coast though the Texas club reminded the league that the first half of the season wasn't a fluke. Missing key players played a part in the swoon but the club should be at near full strength for the run in.
