The BSL has a scheduled off week in preparation for the first round of Major's Cup Qualifying. That won't keep Alamo City off the pitch though as they will be taking on city rival San Antonio FC in the DEFENDER'S SHIELD (homage to the Military presence in San Antonio). At this time the clubs are undecided if it will be a one shot for the Shield, two legged tie, or a series over the season.
ACSC will have limited players available for this weekend but the clubs decided to take advantage of the break in the BSL schedule to get things kicked off. At the moment both sides are leaning to at least a two legged tie as the BSL season is shorter this year.
