Freedom Cup Kicks Off With Trip To Play CSKA Moscow
The break from BSL play has finally come for Alamo City and they finished up the first round of league play with a 2-1 win over Union SC. Now the club flies to 'Mother Russia' to take on on of the most storied clubs in the world and kick off the Freedom Cup.
"The change in competition comes at good time for us. We had the longest first stretch in the BSL and the change of pace will help us re-focus and continue pushing forward. We've hit a nice run of form and we're hoping to keep it up."
The inaugural Freedom Cup is sure to bring the same excitement to the pitch that the BSL and Alamo City do on a weekly basis.
