Alamo City has reached an agreement to land a third DP slot in exchange for the club's second round draft pick.

Alamo City Announces Off Season Availability

The Alamo City Soccer Club officially announces that it is open for off-season business.  The club is actively seeking out 1st Round draft picks and is open to making trades in order to acquire them.  Below is the club's initial listing and player assessment breakdown.  Negotiations will begin from these assigned values.

Roster Breakdown and Assigned Value:

The assigned value is based on combined statistical output (G/A or SVP/SHO) in comparison to their placement in both the MLS and the BSL with other players.  Length of time in the league was also taken into account.

Roster Cleanup

Back in August (the 8th to be exact) the Alamo City Soccer Club announced the signings of Nelson Valdez and Hercules Gomez with the subsequent releases of Vincent Nogueria and Darwin Ceren.

The league informed the club that Hercules Gomez wasn't available for selection as he signed with the league after the start of Week 22 gameplay.  Curious, the club inquired as to how the Gunners were able to sign Jordi Quintilla, who had also signed after the start of Week 22 (the day before Gomez was signed in fact).  Alamo City never received clarification and Quintilla remained on the Gunners roster while Gomez was not made available to the Battle.

The matter was never resolved.

In the interest of fair play to the draft, off-season dealings, and possible expansion clubs Alamo City is announcing that Darwin Ceren has been released as the 2nd part of the Nelson Valdez transaction.
