German Tour Kicks Off With Record Setting Draw

It's a good thing for the rest of the BSL Clubs that Alamo City missed the post-season by the narrowest of margins.  Having missed out on both the Major's Cup and the Playoffs, the Battle turned their attention to Germany.  The club has embarked on a tour that will see them play some of the best clubs in the world.  It started with perhaps the best, as they faced Bayern Munich.  The match turned out to be an instant classic as the clubs drew 8-8 in regulation with Alamo City taking the honors in the PK shootout 7-5 (number of players scoring).

Oba was welcomed back in great fashion as he hit a brace (2G) to match Thomas McNamara (G,A) and Adam Kwarasey (CS, SP) with getting two scores on the board.  Mike Grella (A), Krisztian Nemeth (A), Giovani Dos Santos (A) and newly signed Nelson Valdez (G) also got on the board.

The club will face Wolfsburg next weekend.

- FC DALLAS has won the brass canon this season, edging out Alamo City by 3pts ...

- Looming over the club is the cloudy player acquisition decisions that have seen their inquiries go unanswered on a player ruling.  Hopefully the club can focus on the German tour and gel over the next few weeks in order to head into 2016 on a positive note.
